News From Our Brooklyn, New York Cosmetic Dental Practice

We believe in creating a relationship with our patients that goes beyond the office doors. We've specially created this section of our site to share with you important news from our Brooklyn family dental practice.

Sincerely,
Dr. Matthew Lieberman
Your Brooklyn Cosmetic Dentist

Welcome, Dr. A!
Please join me in welcoming Dr David Abramowitz as my new associate.

Dr. David Abramowitz has called Arizona home since 2013 and is now returning to New York with his family. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with honors, and attended A.T. Still University College of Graduate Health Studies where he received his Master of Public Health degree. He continued on to receive his DMD from Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.

Dr. Abramowitz’s treatment philosophy is very similar to mine as he practices conservative, patient centered dental care in a warm and friendly manner. He is fond of telling his patients, “if it isn't broken, why fix it?”  I’m sure many of my patients will recognize that sentiment as you have heard it from me as well.

Dr. Abramowitz's training and scope of practice includes proficiency in family care, restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. In addition, he will be able to bring a new dimension to the office doing root canals and routine extractions. Our goal is to make it possible to schedule your appointments quicker and expand our availability and hours to fit your needs.

I will continue to see my patients and be available as always but please be sure to meet Dr Abramowitz and become familiar with him. You can also schedule appointments with him starting July 15, 2019.

Sincerely,
Dr. Matthew Lieberman
Dr. Lieberman is participating in Bike4Chai!
This summer, I will have the opportunity to partake in a life-changing event: a 180-mile bike ride through New Jersey, the Pocono Mountains, and Upstate NY. This is no ordinary ride; it’s an exhilarating cycling event ending at Camp Simcha, a remarkable overnight camp that provides seriously ill children with a vacation from sickness, restoring their spirits and renewing their determination to fight.

Life for a child with cancer or other serious illness is grueling; Chai Lifeline’s flagship programs, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special, offer 430 children a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. Camp is an oasis of fun, of joy, and of peace for children experiencing dark and turbulent times. To learn more about Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha special, visit campsimcha.org

My family and I have personal experience with Camp Simcha as our daughter, Aviva, is a staff volunteer and has seen first hand the amazing, life changing, awe inspiring things that take place there. Aviva, along with my wife, Meryl, have encouraged me to train and fund raise for this amazing organization.

This year’s ride is even more thrilling than past years’ rides: it’s a landmark ride, the 10th Bike4Chai! I will depart on the two-day ride of a lifetime to camp on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. My objective is to raise $10,000 by then, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Thank you for supporting me and, in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.

Thank you,
Matt
