Dentist Brooklyn Dr. Kimia Kohanbash

Dr. Kimia Kohanbash graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society and was awarded the Hull and Holzman Award for proficiency in endodontics. Dr. Kohanbash then went on to complete her general practice residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center where she gained advanced experience in all the specialties of dentistry including oral surgery, anesthesia, and treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Kohanbash regularly participates in continuing education courses in all areas of dentistry to maintain progressive skills and continue providing excellent care to her patients based on the latest scientific research. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and treating patients of all ages. Dr. Kohanbash receives much gratification by interacting with her patients in a gentle and compassionate manner.

Dr. Kohanbash is a member of several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Second District Dental Society of New York. She is also a mother of two, a boy and girl, both of whom are in preschool. In the little free time her toddlers give her, Dr. Kohanbash loves to experiment in the kitchen. She is always looking to challenge her skills by cooking and baking exciting new recipes.
